WHAT AJA IS

The Arc of Justice Alliance is a long-term convening and coordination initiative designed to strengthen the progressive ecosystem by connecting organizations, media, policy work, and people, without replacing or controlling them.

The Arc of Justice Alliance (AJA) is not a single organization, campaign, or coalition. It is a convening and coordination container for the progressive ecosystem.

AJA exists to:

• Make the ecosystem visible to itself
• Reduce fragmentation and duplication
• Support collaboration without hierarchy or control
• Build long-term capacity across sectors
• Organizations remain independent

AJA helps them see, find, and work with each other more effectively.

THE PROBLEM WE'RE ADDRESSING

Progressive organizations do extraordinary work — often in isolation. Across the ecosystem, we face:

• Fragmentation across issue areas and sectors
• Limited visibility into who is doing what, where
• Weak coordination between media, policy, organizing, and culture
• Little shared long-term infrastructure

These gaps are structural, not failures of leadership or commitment.
